| Health Board Meets in Durango |

San Juan Basin Health Department’s Board of Health will be meeting this month at the Durango Public Library on Thursday, May 24 from 8:30am to 5pm.
There will be presentations in the morning on topics including Colorado's 10 Winnable Battles, Core Public Health Services, and a review of our local Community Health Assessment. Presenters include: Chris Urbina, MD, MPH, the Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer for the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment; Emily Burns, MD, MPH who is the Executive Director of Southwest Colorado Area Health Education Center; and Pamela Hanes, PhD, MSW who is a faculty member with the Colorado School of Public Health.
This will be followed in the afternoon with a working session of the Board of Health.
 The public is welcome to attend. |
